Void my warrenty? – Only the harddrive external case, not the 4gb console!! Your going to need to get the harddrive from somewhere, lol. 3.) Work with any xbox360 harddrive? – Yes, 20, 60, 120, 250, all xbox360 hdd. Look on ebay for an xbox360 harddrive :3 4.) Will regular HDD work? – Yes, but requires more work, google is your friend. Something about formating it so the xbox360 can recognize it, I do not have any knowledge of it, sorry. Google it! 5.) I’m getting E68 error, what is this? – The harddrive is the problem, remove it and use a different one, or google a solution, someone added a jumper to the hdd and made it work that way, your console is NOT broken with this error, so do not panic since E68 is an error for the harddrive only ———————————- Video Description: This video is the original. @001GRad Technically… Yeah. You do get the hardware that does have the amount of space they’re advertising. But you can’t use all of it, unless a complete, giant magnet wipe. It’s always been like that.

lol its not “false advertisement” with any hard drive you get whether its 20 gb or 500 gb you actual get less than that
I just bought an old 360 drive from Craigslist for $30. I cracked open the outer case at the sides with a large flat head screwdriver then I used a needle nose to take off the screws that attached to the inner case. Then I just dropped it in my slim. Worked perfectly!!! Much better than paying over a hundred dollars for a slim version.

Did you have to format your old hard drive?
does it have to be an XBOX harddrive? can you use a normal drive like a 2.5 SATA like a PS3 or laptop?
Goddamnit. I wish I saw this before I sold my broken Xbox with the HDD.
Not sure if you already figured out an easy removal method yet, but i’d recommend attaching a lanyard or some other type of string to both sides of the hard drive by using the existing screw holes to pull the drive out. I was wondering the same thing because i’m thinking of buying a 500GB drive.

DUDE!!! YOU AND I ARE IN THE EXACT SAME POSITION!! but when i look at it, the xbox seems to be the more attractive choice.the one thing i fear,is to build a gaming pc, only to have to upgrade in the next 2 years or so because i cannot run a certain game in high settings, constantly having to check system requirements is a serious pain in the ass!! but with the 360 you can buy any game with confidence knowing it will run perfect.also better games are on consoles.
